There’s no word yet on what caused a massive fire at a manufacturing plant in Kentland last night. Reports say fire crews were first called to the International Cushioning Company near the intersection of Routes 41 and 24 about 9:30 Tuesday night. The company makes bubble wrap and other shipping materials. While there were employees on sight when the fire broke out, there are no reports of injuries. Fire fighters were still on the scene as of late this morning. The building is a total loss. Kentland fire officials say they used more than half a million gallons of water fighting blaze.
