Chicken Coop Fire in Braceville

A heating lamp is believed to be responsible for a chicken coop fire Wednesday night in Braceville.  The fire caused about five thousand dollars in damage to the coop and a small portion of the home in the 100 block of South Lenox Street.  Fire officials say no one was hospitalized, but one person was evaluated for smoke inhalation at the scene.  None of the chickens were harmed.
