Two brothers from Diamond, Illinois were arrested last week and charged with beating an employee of a Wilmington Towing business. Will County Sheriffs police say the 65 year old man suffered lacerations, broken ribs, a collapsed lung and suspected internal bleeding following the attack Thursday at Brown’s Towing. 25 year old Steven Shelly and his brother 27 year old Christopher went there to pick up a motorcycle involved in a fatal accident in Braidwood. The employee confronted the two when he says they began rummaging through a second vehicle also involved in the crash. At one point police say the employee was stuck so hard his glasses and hearing aid were knocked off. Police say both brothers then left the scene, but not before driving a truck carrying the motorcycle into a fence knocking it over. They then allegedly picked up the victim and threw him on the fence, too.
