Fog Plays Roll in Fatal Jasper County Crash

Heavy fog is suspected of playing a role in a fatal accident Tuesday night in Jasper County that claimed the life of a Monticello, Indiana man.  State Police say about 9:30, 69 year old Verlon Curran was rear ended by a semi on I-65 as he apparently slowed down in the fog to exit at Rt.24 at Remington. The truck driver, a Washington State man, was not hurt.  Curran and a passenger were taken to a local hospital where he later died
