Gabby Barrett scores her second career-opening No. 1 single on Billboard’s airplay-, sales- and streaming-based Hot Country Songs chart as “The Good Ones” rises to the top of the April 10-dated list.

The song — written by Barrett, Zach Kale, Emily Landis and Jim McCormick — follows Barrett’s “I Hope,” which reigned for 27 weeks starting last July, and spent a record 99 frames on the tally.

“The Good Ones” increased by 13% to 25 million audience impressions in the week ending April 4, according to MRC Data, as it pushes 6-4 on Country Airplay. It also attracted 9.1 million U.S. streams and sold 5,000 in the week ending April 1.

Barrett is the first woman to take her first two proper singles (promoted to the format) to the Hot Country Songs penthouse since the list adopted its multi-metric methodology in 2012.
