Kankakee City police were called to Crestlane Drive about 10:30 last night after someone called to say they had been threatened by a man with a gun.   During a search of the area police located 21 year old Lavelle Franklin of Kankakee.   Officers report a search of Franklin turned up a handgun.  He’s been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
